1 A Chord is a multi-talented family group of singers, songwriters and musicians. An award-winning Country Gospel group based in Gainesville, Texas, 1 A Chord, is comprised of Jones family members: Jimmy Jones, his sister "Aunt" Connie Perry, and his oldest daughter Mary Fay Jackson. Other Family Members Sing in the Group Including Daughters, Dinah Thomas and Carla Jones Elliott.

Soon after forming their group in 1990, they found themselves in great demand as Recording Artists, Performers and national Television Hosts. Their popular National Award winning television program, "Texas Country Gospel", produced, directed and hosted by 1 A Chord Jones family, aired on the Daystar Network
for seven years. Now TCG airs weekly on www.FamilyFriendlyE.com. It also airs in India on the Velugu Christian Television Network.

It was voted "Top Television Show" of the year for four consecutive years by the International Country Gospel Music Association. Both the Texas International Music Association and the Christian Country Music Guild also voted the program for the "Top Television Program" three years in a row.
